That is allot of details! Did you use a named color so you easily change the overall color?
What are these jagged egde objects? They don't really show up in the top image.
The finished product looks really good Gray.

magnificent - I really admire all that patience and hard work - even the 'expression on its face' is cool

Thanks Gray.

Great stuff! Your illustration convinces us that the monster is real and that it can fly.

They show up Know1, although are a little difficult to see due to the size of the posted image.
If you look to the right wing almost at the end you will see the "dirty" effect in the junction of the rectangular panels more easily.
The final render looks gorgeous gray, the details in the cockpit, helices and metal feel of the plane are top notch. All the front of the plane screams for attention due to the intricate detail going on there.
If you allow me, the only aspect that can be a little improved is the projected shadow. It looks a little off (donīt match exactly the light direction). I think it should be pushed back a little and bigger. I donīt know if itīs intentionally clean (the shadow) to keep the style of the rest of the image, but you could try to feather it a little to give more depth to the image and to reflect some distance between the plane and the ground. Itīs too sharp for a projected shadow that doesnīt touch the object projecting it.
I donīt known the real plane, but the metallic finish looks superb on it.
Great work
