How's the Snowstorm in England?

Just wondering how anyone from England is faring with the winter weather. In the U.S., we're hearing phrases like "winter chaos in the U.K.", "snow hammered Brits", "thousands trapped", and "The Great Snowstorm". Hope everyone is safe and sound. Did Xara have to close business for a day?

Hi Zeedale and thanks for asking. Yes it's been hell, half an inch of snow fell and lasted for a whole 2 hours and therefore the transport system ground to a complete halt and all schools were closed.

The truth is we get such little extreme winter weather here these days that when we do it tends to have a far greater effect than on countries that do get regular winter extremes.
