Default Re: How to arrange the order of the shapes overlapping

    Hi, Tresehulyo.

There are a couple of possible options. The simplest is just to make the extrusion of the middle shape thicker than the wings.

A more sophisticated option, if you are not planning to spin it, or otherwise animate it, is to apply the Ripple animation to the shapes, with the z-axis chosen, and pause it. While it is paused, select the wings shape and amend its Amplitude parameter within the Ripple animation dialogue so that it is behind the other shapes. You can also amend the Amplitudes of the other shapes too. I have amended your x3d file, and re-attached it. When you open it, the Ripple will run, just pause it on frame 2.

If you are happy with that, but you want to spin it too, you can still do that, but you have to do it manually, by moving the viewpoint in set steps and exporting the image at each step, and build up an aminated gif inside another application a frame at a time. It sounds a little tedious, but it is quite straightforward, and more help is available if you need it.
