    Default brush color

I made a brush and to color the line made with it I edit the brush and set all brush colors, and then press save.
When I draw another line with that brush and edit the brush the setting changed, I must set again "all brush colors" to be able to color it.
How can I do to retain the setting to avoid edit every time the brush?

    Hi

have a look at brushes here:

xtreme brushes are, in my opinion, a work in progress never finished ..

I am doing an in-depth exploration of the Create Brush function to be posted on 1 February. It covers just about every possible function and setting.

Unfortunately you can't. It's an annoying limitation of brushes in Xara. It has been raised countless times over the years. It'll be addressed by Xara no doubt one day.

The best that can be done that I've seen is JokeArtist's workaround, viewable from this thread. It doesn't give you exactly what you want, but it will save you a bunch of time.
