A few more stars for brushes.

I drew a line about the same width as the star and set it transparent. Then made a bitmap copy with the star and line to extend the transparent area of the image. This way the brush can appear to have a rotation point at the edge of the image. I used one of the pointed line types, and adjusted the brush scaling pressure. Then adjusted spacing and rotation.

    Weaving

I used the spring star because it may appear difficult to weave. I use three images. One in back the same rotation as the one in front, and one in the middle which is rotated. I drew non precision objects over the weave areas and hacked out pieces of the front image. The image in back fills in the inprefection in the chopping.
