font flowers

I got this idea from an illustrator tutorial, but of course I did it in Xara

Type any letter in whatever font you like, And turn it into a brush, now apply it to a circle with no fill and have fun. You can colour your letter with gradient fills, and try different adjustments to the brush.

I had forgotten about those alphabet lace brushes, I bet you would get some interesting flowers from them.

A good idea, Frances and virtually limitless in its scope. let's say there are 10,000 free fonts out there, multiplied by the number of letters and numbers, and multiplied again by the various combinations, multiplied by upper and lower case...not forgetting the number of different fills and colours.
