    Default "Santa's Little Helper"

This is the card I made for my brother's family that they are giving out. That's my 2 year old niece on the card.

Face, obviously taken from a photo, everything else is Xara. I did make her cheeks a bit more rosier. Boxes made with Xara's 3D tool.

Great card Bob. Personalized cards are very nice to receive. Personalized and created by a great artist are even better.

What can I say. Another great card. I like the way you've blended the hair with face.

Great idea... I like the way you worked her face in with the line-work. It just adds that "little something" that brings it all together.

Will use it when the "fun" opportunity present itself. Hmmm... That would be "now"actually... but there is still "some" shopping to be done and "a lot" of cooking to get going.

    Thanks, Bob! Happy Holidays!

Blending the hair with the face started at the ears. In adding the pointed ears, I tried to blend in some vector hair lines to hide where the ear joins the head. And it looked like it worked well enough.

In adding the long hair in the back, the real hair that still appeared on the top of her head (her bangs) didn't fit with the rest of the image. So instead of trying to make vector hair look real and blend in with the photo, it would be easier for me to change the real hair to vector and blend in with the cartoon

    Thanks for the comments
