These things happen Peter, don't feel bad. I'm sure Mrs Spencer knows how we all feel about her loss.

Absolutely, I'm sure Normans family will understand, as we all do.

of course - the thought is what counts as is said in a slightly different context - if life gets in the way, well..that's life
    Norman would understand too....

Don't worry about it Peter. It was unfortunate, but the thought was there.

Peter, you have nothing to reproach yourself for. As others have said, these things happen and everyone understands. You do know that Norman is having a chuckle.
    Best regards,
    Bob.

    Peter

I am sorry you didn't make it to the funeral - we wondered why you hadn't introduced yourself!

When making the funeral arrangements, I told the minister that I wanted everyone to come out and say "What a lovely funeral" and that's exactly what happened. Although it was a sad occasion, with lots of tears, there was lots of laughter too. During the internment, we played Jim Reeves' "Adios Amigo", as it was one of my Dad's favourite songs. As everyone left, we had Glenn Millar playing, as he loved big band music.

Reality is now setting in and we are beginning to realise what a huge gap he is going to leave. I'm staying here in Edinburgh with my Mum until Monday and then I'll be returing to France.

Thank you all so very much for all the tributes you have paid to my Dad and for all your kind messages of support.

    Regards
    Heather

Peter, don't worry, life has a way of getting in the way of our best laid plans.

Heather, thank you for the update. All the tributes were richly deserved.

Peter, please don't dig yourself down over this. You are a good man. We all know you would have been there if at all possible.

Heather, thank you for taking the time for all of us at Talkgraphics even though it has been difficult. You have been amazing.
