Incorporating PayPal buttons

Hi

Question: I've just designed a website using Xara Xtreme.
I want to add PayPal "buy now" button to the site. I've incorprated the html generated by PayPal into the index, but can't seem to reposition the button. It always ends up top left! Is there any easy way of doing this, or even using my own button? I've tried everything!

You might search this forum for Pay Pal and you should be able to find the previous thread.

Can you post the page html code?

I've some experience with PayPal buttons so I should be able to sort it out.

I think the placing of the button is done in CSS. I think you need to make a place holder in the tepmlate, place it where you want the button to be and make it the same size as your button will be. Then after exporting you need to find the place holder and then edit the CSS/html and enter your code for the button into that spot.

I'm new to this forum. Would I post the whole html code for that page, or just the url? I've tried the placeholder method - I managed to get the graphic of the button there, but without the functionality. Very frustrating!

create your button in xara get the info for product from paypal, select button in xara hit shift+ctrl+W and paste in the code from paypal in the URL space, target frame new window blank, shape of object....I think that is how I did. Default Paypal buttons are <form> HTML elements, something not supported by Xtreme.

Thanks for the replies. I'll try a few methods when I'm back in front of my home PC. Here's the url http://www.baxterman.co.uk/index_2.htm
You'll see PayPal button top left. I created a placeholder below the media player (a black square named "Pay Pal Button" which is doing nothing at the moment). I've tried editing the code (generated by PP) into that, but it still won't work. The code for the button is currently at the bottom of the html until I figure out what to do!

I appreciate all postings.
