    Default PDF export aborted

I keep getting this PDF filter message each time I attempt to export to PDF. I have tried different documents and different settings same message:

The PDF Filter encountered a general problem. PDF is aborted (0004)

I used to do this with no problem before.

    Any ideas?

    Tom

Hi Tom, I've no idea what's causing the current problem Could I suggest an uninstall/reinstall. This often clears the issue and doesn't take much time.

If you still have problems then get back.

    Thanks Egg,

    Seems like the only option.

I've been using PDF995, but prefer Xara's many export PDF options.

Suddenly my Xtreme Pro 5.1.0.9131 DL started throwing up the same error "PDF is aborted (0004)" followed by Access violation.

OK just confirming an uninstall then re-install fixed it, pdf exports working again. Don't know why it broke could be a million reasons.

    --------
Bandits!X? its broken down again, along with a different AV exception at 0x06A2C67D.

PDF Export selected: High quality, then Advanced Options, unticked Optimize for fast web viewing (So that I can open the PDF in Corel Draw for editing)

Attached is my xar, if any one could help that would be appreciated.

I've been getting the same error. Sometimes rebooting helps, but not usually. I wonder if there isn't a fix coming.

Fixes for errors are hard to accomplish without knowing exactly what causes the error and what it is that needs fixing.
A bug has to be repeatable before it can be pin-pointed and squashed.
Can you supply a file which causes errors for you Charles?
