    Default 3D Magazine

For those interested in 3D I think this is an interesting link - http://www.blenderart.org/issues/ - a downloadable magazine centered around blender. I think that whether or not you use blender or not, the articles may be interesting since many of the techniques would easily transfer to other 3D programs.

The GUI improvements are schedule for the 2.5 release (with other features)... don't know about videos but yeah, they would be nice.

To get familiarised with Blender, there's always the free videos found at http://blenderunderground.com - the learning Blender basic series... It features the 2.44 version but it is an excellent start.

Been out of the loop for a while. Will get back in it real soon.

    Happy Blending

saw today that the links for the videos of this year's conference are up at http://river-valley.tv/conferences/b...nference_2008/.

The video on the GUI is 89Mb (the flv version). Downloading as I write this.
