    Default Drawing a scroll

    Hi!
I want to draw a Torah(Bible) scroll in Xara Xtreme.
I'm not sure how to do that.
    Can someone please help me?
For reference how I want it to look, look here:

I hope you can help me in doing something like that in Xara Xtreme.
    Thanks.

    Hi!
    I don't have Xara Xtreme 4, so I don't have the 3d tool.
I want it to be 2d- not in an angle.
    Thanks!

You can use the Blend tool to good effect

    Create rect.
    create txtbox
    group
    mould(banner)
adjust curves with the shape tool(F4)
two rounded rect(same color as textbg)
two rounded rect (slightly darker as textbg)apply feathering
Two brown rect put to back
four little rect to create the stops on the handlebars

agreed - sketch it out with a pencil [or tablet] - work out what basic shapes you need - then create them in xtreme

    Hi Amitai
If it is to be actual 2D--i.e. a head on view--you can do most of it with simple rectangles, using the fill tool to shade and give the illusion of depth. Only the scroll handles need to be shaped a bit--if you want.

PS yes the wooden bits that enclose the scroll top and bottom need to be wider
