    Default Exporting b & w pdf

I am trying (without a lot of success) to export xara files as b & w pdfs. It needs to be monochrome because I am giving it to a commercial printer who is printing it in black only. His words are ...

My RIP is immediately flushing any and all of your PDF files for some
obscure reason. Can you confirm what software these were created in?
From what I can assertain from the file it was made with a program
called Xara Extreme. Is that correct?

I believe the PPD (printer profiles) for this software are incorrect.
When I analyze the files it shows that there is a black channel as well
as RGB channels which is more than likely the cause of our 'flushing' issue.
If these settings are incorrect then no matter what I do this end, it
will always retain the original settings so I'm not able to create a
    workaround unfortunately.

    Any help gratefully appreciated.

    Thanks

You could try and use the print function to export it as a PDF. I typically use that from Xtreme when ever I send stuff to the printers. It seems to always work.

Select printer as Adobe PDF got to printer properties select Paper/Quality = B&W then select Adobe PDF Settings select High Quality Print from Default Settings drop down menu and you should be good to go.
