Thumbnail preview in folders not working in Vista 64 bit?

Richard are you saying you do not have a file that is not showing a thumbnail? Or that you are unwilling to post a file that is not showing a thumbnail?

Huh? I was clear when I stated that I have older files that are showing thumbs and newer or resaved thumbs that are not showing with thumbs. I never said I was going to post a file as they are all my personal works and don't wish to.

Richard, sorry I wasn't trying to ruffle your feathers.

I was wanting to help identify the problem with thumbnails and thought you might have a file you would share so someone could examine it.

Hi Bill,

You didn't ruffle my fur. I was in a bit of hurry when I as typing it out. I will make a new file, create a few shapes and upload it if that is not supplying me with a thumbnail when I get home tonight... if I have the time. I'm very busy these days with many many project juggling and trying to have a social life. Sometimes not the best mixture. Plus I lost 2 clients due to the financial mess this nation is in in the past week or so so that's been a bit of a sting to me since I just invested in this new computer and have to pay it off.....

So pay me no mind.... and certainly don't take it personally.

Hi Dominique,

Your 1st October 2008 file 'coeur.xar' shows it was created with the April CD version of Xtreme.

You might find that updating to the latest version could resolve the problem?

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. However,I am having exactly the same problem as Thumbnail problem. Computer not generating them or something. - I have done all the things list here and I still cannot see any preview icons for any files or folders.

Oups! I have update my Xara, but the probem is the same: only some files are visibles, but my newest test files isn't

Did you reboot your computer after the update?
