Default Looking for "Dollar sign" Xara brush

    Hi

Looking for Dollar sign brush for Xara. I am going to use it to "frame" a rectangle. Using it for a "BIG SALE" graphic

It should have a fun look maybe a combination of Dollar signs and US dollar bills?????

Does anyone know where I can find something like this?

    Thanks

    Make your own, it's easy:

    1. Make a dollar sign from any typeface you like.
    2. Make it the size and colour you want.
    3. Select the freehand brush tool.
    4. Click create brush (on the tool bar above). Make sure your dollar sign is selected.

    Draw away

You can edit what the brush does by clicking the "edit brush" button - surprise!

    In peace

Yes Rowby, it's more fun creating your own brush and editing it to suit.

Try creating an extruded dollar brush etc.

In fact extruded brushes can create some good results.

You could also do a blend from one dollar sign to another, then blend to a curve.

no extrusion - just flat yellow right?

but remaking a new brush with the extruded shape it worked

and copying the shape back from the brush you made - it is extruded and it then makes a brush that works too!

the font you used was substituted on my machine, so that might be a factor

I also get some very weird results when using an extruded $ as a brush - See attachment.

    Thanks Bill, that did it!

I would have thought that would have been off by default though. As you can tell I don't generally use brushes.
