He He ! Thanks for the info Giovanni ! Yes that works fine without installing 0.46 prior ; I got the reply here : http://www.inkscapeforum.com/viewtop...8&p=9142#p9142 . I have edited my post. On the other hand I should replace it by a more graphic tutorial.

Though your effects look nice,they also can be produced in Xtreme
Just do your way with the paint live effect-tool

created a "brush"
-a strange shape from some lines>add shapes>converted to editable shapes
gave it some feathering>created bg rectangle with color black
exported to the media folder C:\Program Files\Xara\Xara Xtreme Pro 4\PCFx\media\fx\art_brushes

Now in Xtreme i load the brush in the live effect>art>painting
and change the settings to my needs>done

Excellent ! Those explanations were needed ! That would be interesting to share brushes too. Perhaps on some special area in the XaraXone ?

Under Glass

To increase or remove refraction effect, simply change the Displacement Map amount in the Object/Filter Effects Dialog Box
