Help with corrupted . xar file

Hello all
I was working on a file and Xara crashed and it wont open for me anymore
I tried the expandxar utility but I had no luck.
I am wondering if anyone can open it for me or maybe recover my file. Or offer any suggestions. I was drawing some logos and guitar in the file. I will post the file here is anyone might like to see if they can help.

It won't open for me, Bruce, I just get a message saying the file does not exist. Others have had some success opening
this type of file with early versions of Xara. But at a file size of 70 bytes, I shouldn't think there's much left, I'm afraid.

I've lost work this way before, now I use Sledger's nifty registry hacks to make back up files. It's not perfect, you get a new file everytime you save, but it has saved me a few times.

Thanks Bob for trying. I might have to get that new program from Bill and Steve as frances has suggested. Well I might have to draw me a whole new guitar i guess.. I guess it will be good practice.

Bruce, try opening it in an earlier version of Xtreme. I'd try it for you but my main comuters u/s

Sorry Bruce but the file is empty. As Bob says, 70KB is almost nothing.
In the case of your file, all that it contains is most of the file header:

XARA££
 6 CXN Xara Xtreme Pro 4.0 4.0.4966 CD (Xara)


Nothing opens in X1, Xtreme2 or Xtreme3

PS: I notice you haven't yet updated your Version 4 (4.0.1.5601)
