Bitmap Fill-copying TIP

Prior to Xtreme 4.0 you could copy a bitmap filled shape to the clipboard and then paste attributes to a new selected shape and the photo would paste.

But because 4.0 treats any bitmap filled shape as a photo and not a shape, this does not work.

Neil at Xara gave me a workaround which I would like to pass along.

Select the bitmap filled shape from which you want to copy the fill and change the fill tiling to Repeating. Then select the new target shape and Paste Attributes.
