It all looks ok in Opera 9.25, the Paypal links work too. The only thing I'd suggest is that the magenta flavour of the books doesn't work too well with the cyan of the web page. Perhaps something in the magenta range, or a neutral shade of grey, perhaps.

Tao yes - the keyword meta is fine where it is

You could if you wished, as a description meta in a similar way:

    Here's TG's example:

<meta name="description" content="TalkGraphics.com is a place for like-minded individuals to chat about graphics software, website design and more." />

Yes, inside <head>...</head> is the correct place for <meta />.

Whilst <meta name="description" /> has a useful purpose for displaying in search engine results, <meta name="keywords" /> is a complete waste of time. It hasn't been used by search engines for 10 years odd.

    Hi

I agree the metatag keywords is now only used by a few of the obscure earch engines. Good title and content really is the way forward.

That being said in these days of faster internet the relative overhead of the tags is quite small so I use them on the principle that every little helps.

Possibly, though in randomly checking eight popular sites I see they all still use the keyword meta.
So for the time being, it seems worthwhile to keep them both.

I would suggest besides looking at the keywords and meta stuff is to use "google" from yer home page and do a search for the words contained within yer keywords and see if yer site shows up
    Just my thought.

Number 1 and 2 for some obscure search will not net Roger many visits.

A search for "draginet" brings up my site as number 1 and 2. No one in there right mind would ever think to search for that. So... he needs to work on SEO placement a bit or advertise the heck out of the search term where he is number one.
