    Default Surprise holiday

To my good friends on the forum.Guess who is writing you from La Belle France in a little village called St Denis de Gastines. Heather my daughter paid us a surprise visit and as she was descibing her new life living in France, I said I do wish I was well enough to come and see the place so she said why not come home with me on Friday? I made up my mind on the spur of the moment got on the internet, confirmed there were seats available on the same plane as Heather then got in touch with my doctor asked his advice, he said go for it Norman. Straight back to the internet booked and paid for the flight, all within half an hour It surprised the hell out out of Alice when she got home. So here we are, temp 29 degrees. Flight took one hour and a 40 mins as did the journey from the airport to here. Wheel chair laid on at this end by the airport fire brigade "La Pompiers" I will be in touch when I get home. Au Revoir.mes amis. love Alice and Norman

Norman that's great - your doctor sounds like a very wise man.

Best wishes to you and Alice.

I can only quote Bob, who said it so eloquently ........WOW ..........
Really glad your up and about Norm. Too bad the boys at the airport didn't let you drive the big red truck. Take care and keep on posting.........frank

p.s. I don't think we've hit 29 this summer. Had a few mornings at 10 and 15, ooddles and ooddles of rain, actually, this is the weather I prefer, taking it anytime over 30 and humid.
