I attach a 2 screencaptures of the registry entries.
One for Xara Xtreme Pro and one for Xara Xtreme Pro 4.
I hope this is what you need, if not come back to me.

    Yes, thanks Harry.

I was hoping to see something that I was either forgetting to consider with my filtering code or something I was not aware existed.

Have you download the latest update from post #39? Is Xtreme Pro 4.0 still not accepting the change in Guides colour?

    Yes, I have version 0. 1. 3. 2.
But there is no change from previous versions.
Setting Blue produces Blue Guides in Xtreme Pro but setting Blue in Xtreme Pro 4 has no effect, the Guides are still Red.
Which entry does the setting of the Guide Rectangle to Blue change in the Windows XP registry?
    Thanks
    Harry

Hi Bill, good news! The latest iteration worked without a hitch and thank you very much for all your (and Steve's) hours of work producing the app.

I still have a minor problem re the guide colour remaining red but your onto this with Harry.

Thanks again for the great app.

Thanks a lot for this useful tool Bill! It makes most of the changes that I use.

In addition I use the following settings for my configuration and would be grateful if you could incorporate them...

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\XaraXtreme\4.0\Opt ions\Attributes\ForceGeometryFitShapeDrop=dword:00 000001
    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\XaraXtreme\4.0\Opt ions\Dragging\SmartDropBehaviour=dword:00000001
    See the following discussion: http://www.talkgraphics.com/search.php?searchid=603539

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\XaraXtreme\4.0\Opt ions\Attributes\TransparencyBecomesCurrent=dword:0 0000001

I also set my Right Mouse Button to the "Push Tool" in the Options dialog, since I use this much more than the context menu but I also want to use the context menu and so after some experimenting - this sets the Middle Mouse Button to the "Context Menu" - perhaps you could add this to your tool also:

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Xara\XaraXtreme\4.0\Opt ions\Mouse\Middle Button=dword:00000004

Thanks again for your hard work on this Bill

Thank you Bill and Steve. It´s great to have all the "hacks" in one place and change them almost with just a click of a button.
