Has anyone else had this problem? If so, how did you fix it?

I've tried at least 20 times now. The installer opens, I accept the agreement, I choose the destination folder - so far so good. As soon I I click "next" on the "select program folder", the installer freezes and I can't even cancel without going via cntrl/alt/del.

I wrote xara support when this happened with the trial and they instructed me to delete certain reg keys etc. I did that - still froze. I have now deleted ALL xara files on my computer and have no programs running which would prohibit the installer from setting reg keys. I purchased the program and downloaded from my user area. Same ######### problem. http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/mad.gif

Can anyone out there help me http://www.talkgraphics.com/images/smilies/confused.gif

    Try this:
    http://downloads.xara.com/downloads/...P3andXML4b.msi

I found this on the 3rd topic at the top of this page, about 3 topics above your post in the unlock/connect problem windows 2000 pro.

This happened to me a couple months ago and also today. I run this program and then I'm able to download everything.

Thanks. Not exactly the same problem, but I just tried this anyway. Apparently, I already had these files since the installer asked if I wanted to repair or remove. I clicked repair (in case there was an error) and just tried to reinstall ws4. Same frustrating result.
