4.0.1 patch now available

I've just tested it again. The bug happens with any plugin effect applied, even the 3rd party ones. Since you guys can't reproduce it, there must be something else at play here but I don't know what that is.

Anywho, now I create a bitmap copy first before clipping as a workaround.

Hmmm, I tried to see if any Update was available - got Error (attached)

Xtreme4 updates are available via the link in post#1 which directs you to the Xara Support Page.

Failure to connect to the update server via the internal update feature can be a result of any of many temporary local or international Network problems.

However, as far as I am aware, since it's release in April 2008, there have never been any updates which are available via the Update feature within Xtreme.

BTW: The Xtreme connection works fine from here.

When I try to install the patch I am getting this error:

"This program cannot update the installed version of Xtreme 4 because of the follwing reason: ...\Filters\PSDWrite.dll: unknown version

I have the correct CD installed (the version the patch was designed for).

I solved the problem. I must have downloaded a wrong version of the patch. I downloaded from Xara.com and now it worked.
