    Default Yanx

a friend asked me to do him a logo for his new band...a bunch of old hippies playing together once a week, called the YANX. It is an all american band, he wanted somethig like a motorbike logo. I did this all with the 3D extrude tool. I think they are going to put it on a tshirt...tj

Very nice work, Roger. A few people (vector purists) seem to disapprove of the 3D extrude tool, but it does produce some fabulous effects. There's also more to it than first meets the eye. It's more than just a toy in my opinion. The logo would look great on a t shirt, and it has the motorbike/metal feel to it.

thanks bob, I reckon it is a great tool, this didn't take me all that long to do. Not sure how long it would take if I had to do it pure vector...rog

    Very cool logo.

Not quite sold on the star. Maybe it should be a 5 point star.

I always thought the Star of david was two interconnecting triangles. The lines from the points are not aligned with the opposite point. so it just counts as a 6 pointed star I think. I could be wrong... if I am, someone will correct me.
