Any CorelXara dinosaurs out there?

Ok I'm a newbie and this might not be the forum - so holster your flamethrowers...
I'm running the XaraX 4 trial, VERY GOOD!
Then I discovered an old CorelXara 1.1 CD I bought in the late 90's, after tweaking XP to get it to accept ancient 16bit software it is up and running, obviously lacking bells and whistles of XX, (shadow, bevel etc).
Question: are there updates or do I have to fork out the greenbacks to upgrade to XX?
