Very good work, the use of only vectors is noted and appreciated.
Your tone of disdain, however, isn't.

    Nice Work Joke Artist.

Bob - I also fail to see any tone of disdain.

It did say 'no filter or bitmap crap' before but I changed it as it seemed to really get on Bobs nerves that I put that - which I found strange but I'm not one to rub people up the wrong way so I've not changed it.

JA, you don't have to change anything that you wrote, just because I
found the "no filter or bitmap crap" statement somewhat crass and contentious.
It's just this aggressive stance that comes across in your postings that
I find are part of an attitude that I'd rather not see on these forums.
I don't wish to hijack this particular thread, as the work you have posted is so good, I'd hate to detract from it.
It would be for the best if I placed you on my ignore list, probably my loss if I did so.

    Very interesting work JokeArtist.
Iīve been following your "vector brushed" work from your posts and i think itīs a very original approach to Xara tools. The results are impressive, specially the obama, my favorite so far.

I like it very much John as always, your style now has developed from a tracing effect into a painter effect which if printed out on texture paper in a large format must sell. Thanks for changing you aviator and you drawings are a welcome change to the gallery. Show more please.

If I can drag myself from helping my Nigerian friend with his server which sends out phishing spam and doing my own eBay scams (good little earner) one afternoon then I will sit down and create a video tutorial which shows the magic of how I do it if you want. I'm prepared to share my techniques with the community. Maybe it will re-dress a little of the bad karma I seem to pick up doing my illegal activities.
