I found a bug near the shed computer. Actually, a very small bug. Too small to see the intricate wing patterns. I made a few macro shots so that I could make drawings. I drew on of the wings in X1, and was going to apply a reflection map in E3. E3 couldn't handle to complexity of the matrix. I found that a single object with too many nodes doesn't work. The image is of the second wing, and is a couple of tenths of an inch long. I made an in enhancement in XPE to better see the design.

I tried smoothing in X1, but never could get a drawing that I could fill. The drawing lost the shape by a large degree of smoothing.

I liked the tools in X1 for cutting the matrix from the drawing.

    Very nice looking wing.

I made a matrix by subtracting the shapes from an oval and applying gel effect.

    John,

Another very pleasing image. I don't think bugs will ever be the same.

I played a little myself. This was a mussel shell fill with gel effect for shaping. Rich

Doing those leaf things make your eyes look funny, and you just want to hang over the edge, so I have heard. Rich
