Even netscape could read a webpage and edit it... The code for the edited page looked nothing like the orginal tho... I think that is the main problem Gary was refering to...

    Hi everyone,

in most times the import function works on pages generated with fusion that
    are simple made -
Maybe ho got a lot of luck and it works when you import other websites but
    the rule is:
    It will not work.
    Why is this so?
    The answer is:
Fusion is a WYSIWYG-Website-Editor wich uses its own database where
    everything is saved:
The .nod ending of your project for instance your site is named
peterswebsite than fusion saves this under peterswebsite.nod
Everything you create there works perfectly and then you click: Publish and
then Fusion starts to create html files...

    - If you use Dreamweaver the concept is different: You create directly html
files so you can import directly html files into it...

I love to work with Xara Xtreme Pro, too and i use it for all my design
    stuff.
But i do not a website with it - Why? Because Xtreme is not a webdesign
Tool - I know you can create Websites with it but the best combination is to
create the Graphics with Xtreme and then work with this graphics in fusion.
A combination of both is not so good because Xtreme will generate its own
    code just like fusion does...
and both seems to work not so good together.

Here is one of my last projects i did with the combination Xara (Graphics)

I've also reached "10", having started at "3". Trying to tweak a large static website ([link removed), I've found that neither "9" (within which it was built) nor "10" can handle the "NOD" file any longer so I'm seriously thinking about moving to DW (and won't go to "11" even for old time's sake!).

    Hi jon,

as i mentioned before the only way to implement an older fuision site from an old fusion version into a new fusion version is:
Make a template - there is now other way although you can open your old nod-file in the newer fusion version - this ends to 98% into chaos...

So just do it this way i mentioned few messages before...

With the new Fusion 11 version is so much possible...

The only step further is a real CMS like Joomla, Drupal or something like this...
Everything else is no step forward...

Good move I think, I've never looked at NetObjectsFusion before, I'm surprised at the markup it produces for your site? Is this normal markup for Net Objects?
This would not be SE friendly I'm sure?
Also, viewing the source crashes Opera

NO Fusion does wysiwyg layout using tables and spacers - it was doing this before divs could be used for precise positioning.
