I know some people use NetObjects Fusion with Xtreme. Just got a email that the new Fusion 11 has been released. What do people think? Is it worth it?

I use NetObjects Fusion 9 and have been using it since version 3.
I create my site graphics in Xtreme and bring them into NOF.

Hi Peter,
The usual method to take a site from an earlier version to the current is to open the previous version software (Fusion 10) and open the site, and then in Site View, click on File > Export as Template > Entire Site
Then in the new version software (Fusion 11) create a new site from the template (saved in the previous step).
Hope that helps
Chris
Hello,
you have to create a template:
1. Open your Fusion File with the version you worked last time on the site.
For instance you created your site in Fusion 9 open it in Version 9
2. Go to the Assets View
Click on the Menu-Bar "Assets" "Delete All Unused File Assets"
Answer the question of the Alert-Box with "Yes"
3. Got to the Site-View
Choose in the Menu-Bar "File" "Export as Template" "Entire Site"
In the next window make shure the activate the checkbox:
"include remote publish profiles" to make shure that your ftp dates are saved within this template
Choose a place where you want to save this template and click on "Save"
- Close your Fusion Version
------------------------------
4. Open Fusion 11:
Choose from the Menu "
New Site from Template and choose exact the file you have created before.
Give the site a name in the next window and click save
Now everything is O.K. Graphics and everything else is saved and should look the same way it was in your Fusion Version before...
That is the only way to make shure that everything is O.K. and to implement an old fusion site into a new fusion version - everything else brings out more or less chaos!
Best Regards
Michael

Guess it's too early to really tell. I was looking at the feature page and there isn't much that really jumps out as a must have feature. I'd pay 2x as much for an upgrade to NOF if there were some great reasons to upgrade. Ah well-NOF 10 is fine, I can wait for 12
Cheers
I cannot speak for versions beyond 9 but I have never been able to import a website successfully into NOF.
I e-mailed support and they had a suggestion which did not work.
If I have to recreate a website in NOF I cut and paste from the existing site into NOF. It is a bit of a pain but it works.
Dreamweaver, I believe, can import an existing site including rollovers, and other stuff.
I did a very complex website for our local paper in NOF and a webmaster who took over for me was able to import the entire site into Dreamweaver and there is not difference at all.

Thanks. Just to clarify, do you mean websites from the internet such as www.xara.com or a local website made in another program, or both?
I'm no expert, but I would have thought that importing a website would have been a pretty basic feature to have.
And the extra cost of Dreamweaver as a bonus!Dreamweaver, I believe, can import an existing site including rollovers, and other stuff.
