    Default Clipview background color selection

I'm working with Xara Xtreme Pro 3 and applying a curved corner rectangle to a jpeg photo and then applying Clipview. Good so far but this leaves a white background outside the curved corners of the rectangle that doesn't match the web page background. Is it possible to make that area transparent, or how do I fill it with a color to match my page background?

    Hi Doc,

    Jpeg does not support transparency.

When saving the image, select it while it is on top of the background that you want (do not select the background).

Not sure if my reply of a few minutes ago is posted yet, but I reread salaam's instructions and finally got it. I needed to place my image over an image with the background color of the my page to get rid of the white fringe. Doing that worked fine. Sorry for the lack of attention to detail.

No problem. It's all part of the learning process.
