Well, I never had a Pro manual before and I do want it because I thought it was part of the deal and I would find it useful. Frankly, I'm surprised that Xara have neither responded on the point nor changed their misleading text on http://www.xara.com/uk/products/xtreme/upgrade. Well, I would call them but they no longer publish a number on their website (I think it was 01442 350000) and emailing them "doesn't always work".

Hi Jon, I think Charles did respond earlier noting that the manual is not included for upgrade versions.

Jon you say you never had a manual? From which version did you upgrade from? If you had the Pro 3.* CD version you ought to have had a manual?

Though I have to say, personally it's fairly clear on their site the the deal for upgrades from Pro versions is no printed manual. Upgrades from non-pro versions don't mention printed manuals, but do say there's a PDF manual included.
I can't see how this is misleading in any way?
