Provided the applications are installed via the current (running) host operating system, they will run from whatever drive you installed them too.
But if they were installed while booted to a different host OS (that isn't currently running), then the applications will not have been setup correctly for the currently running OS.

Photoshop and Artweaver work.

The other applications will open up but without the bitmap being present. Painter says the file cannot be opened.

One other thing - this line isn't right for XPE:
XPE4
"D:\Program Files (x86)\Xara\Xara Xtreme Pro 4\Xtreme.exe"

It should read
XPE4
"D:\Program Files (x86)\Xara\Xara Xtreme Pro 4\Xara Picture Editor\XaraPictureEditor.exe"

The same is for me - empty window with no choices.
All paths are correct. The window is changing the size depending on the first number in INI file... no choices )

Is this app adding anything to the registry?

Thanks Sledger, XPE is now working. Now it seems the only 2 apps not working are Artrage and Painter.

Anyone have luck getting this to work with XXP 5?

Yes, I've been using it all the time - works exactly the same as in Xtreme 4.

It used to work for me in XXP4. No longer for XXP5. It crashes, but Xtreme continues to run.

I successfully got this working with Design Pro 6. This really ought to be built into the next version.
