Provided you've followed the steps exactly, then it's odd it won't work for you.

Are you using a 32bit OS or 64bit?

I don't think any CD's have made it to Australia yet
In any case Suveks app works with version 3.2 CD just as well as version 4

Great thanks Suvek. You're a hero. I'm going to add this now. Just about to install V4 CD first.

Well, the setup is rather straighforward.....so I'll wait to see if others experience the 'no show/empty' dialog with the CD version of XPro4 before
I dig deeper to sort the problem out.

    ......I'm using XP system [32bit].

    Thanks again,

I thinking I'm having a senior moment today. I can't get any photo editor at all (actually I think I had this problem yesterday before I installed the above if my memory serves me properly).

Double clicking a bitmap currently gets me nothing at all (first option on right click is the shape editor tool). I have currently got "Use XPE" set for editing bitmaps in my options.

Yes now I have my double click back I'm having the same problem. No tick facility. in fact no way to return the image to Xara. Which is a bit unfortunate, since the other two apps in my list Corel PP and Photoshop DO return the image. There's no way to access XPE other than through the menu either.

Suvek’s excellent multiple bitmap editor selector worked fine for me in the DL version of Xara Xtreme Pro 4 but it no longer works since the CD version was installed.
All I now get when I click Options\Bitmap Editor is the “Selector editor” window with no menu displayed, only a black screen.
I have redone the Config.ini entries and run the setup_config.bat file but with no success.
Has anyone experienced the same problem since installing the CD version?
I am using Windows XP Pro. AMD Athlon Dual Core Processor 4800 and Nvidia GeForce 7800 GTX.
    Thanks
    Bill

Working fine for me with the CD version. However the problem with no return of the image on XPE (which is the editor I use most of all) is a big one

This isn't completely working for me. I suspect I'm having issues with paths. Most of my apps are on a drive other than C:.

The only one working for me is Photoshop.
    Code:
    6
    Photoshop
    "C:\Program Files (x86)\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop CS3\Photoshop.exe"
    XPE4
    "D:\Program Files (x86)\Xara\Xara Xtreme Pro 4\Xtreme.exe"
    Painter
    "D:\Program Files (x86)\Corel\Corel Painter IX\Painter IX.exe"
    openCanvas
    "D:\Program Files (x86)\portalgraphics\openCanvas4.5e Plus\"
    Artrage
    "D:\Program Files (x86)\Ambient Design\ArtRage 2\ArtRage.exe"
    Artweaver
    "D:\Program Files (x86)\Artweaver 0.5\Artweaver.exe"

Do you have a dual boot machine Sheff?
Two Windows installations? Certainly appears that way looking at your paths?

I have my editors on different drives and they work fine with Suvek's utility.

Yes, it's a dual boot, but I never boot into WinXP 32 anymore.

Am I doing something wrong with the setup bat?
