    Default Vector Picture Frames?

    Hi Everyone,

In Xara Extreme v4.0 I found some vector picture frames.

I am looking for a place where I can found other vector picture frames online that I could use.

Does anyone know of any website where I could find other vector picture frames?

    Thanks,
    burley

If you only require a fairly plain frame, you can easily make your own in Xara Xtreme as my attachment shows.

Two oval borders as a frame.

Nice Rich, but is the frame entirely Vector or using a rasterising effect?

    Your's looks nice.

Unfortunately, I am looking for ornate picture frame that you might find on a van Gogh.

How about something like this? almost the same method as Bob's except I drew a curved rectangle and embellished it with the freehand tool

    Steve,

I have vector frames, but they are only basic colors. All the frames I draw are vector as well. I also like using colors from the environment.

Just to be pedantic (because I can Using bitmap fills means they are not 'vector' frames, which was th OP's focus.

Of course, most of those supplied in Xtreme are not strictly vector either.
But let's not blur the lines. Keeping the distinction between vector and raster clear in your mind is very important in your workflow, especially where your work is going to end up at a print house.

I think this is pure vector. I have had a couple of disk for many years. The EPS files that I have open in Xara. I don't know if the drawings have changed. I believe the ones I have are a version 3 Illustrator type. As I said it has been a long time.
