Errors installing Apr 16 update

When installing the upgrade, a bunch of messageboxes come up:

File C:\Program Files\Common Files\xara\Temp|Man_1_1.dll not found (and yes, that is a "|" between Temp and Man)
File C:\Program Files\Common Files\xara\WebCommand_1_1.ocx not found
File C:\Program Files\Common Files\xara\WebFileUpdater_1_1.dll not found
File C:\Program Files\Common Files\xara\WmfFilter.dll not found
File C:\Program Files\Common Files\xara\X3Dviewer_1_1.dll not found
...XaraDoc_1_9.dll
XFontMan_1_1.dll
XMUpload_1_3.dll

And now when I run 3.02, I get a "Failed to create Compact Renderer COM object" upon startup! I imagine it's related to the previous errors.

HI Can you uninstall version 4 please. Next delete the contents of your temp folders and then redownload the trial from the xara.com web site.

Following this, ensure you are logged into an account with administrative access, disable any virus protector and any other registry monitoring utility you have enabled and then re-install the program
