    Default BUG X4 - Fonts & 3D

Creating a simple text and applying 3D extrusion *not always* works .
It can create a wrong color/image of the fonts on the front side .
With simple big letters (e.g. AAA 72pix it works) but with complex text and small fonts it does not.

Here is a video on how you can reproduce the bug ....

    Regards.

It doesn't appear to happen if you just click on the screen with the text tool instead of dragging a text box.

Yes it only seems to happen when text is entered into a text column or area.

Simply typing onto the page (sans text area) seems to stop this behaviour.
I agree that it looks like a bug, but I don't think Xara would expect the average user to be applying an extrude to a whole column of text?

I find it much easier to work with a text box - even if there are only 2 words, wrap can be controlled much better. So I would nearly always use a box. And would possibly extrude it.

I use text boxes or areas all the time too.
