Bug : invisible brush !

In XX4 often when I draw a simple line, create a brush from it and try drawing there is no picture in the brushes slider and my drawing becomes invisible when I terminate the line and release my pen.

It didn't happen in 3.2 !

Would you say me if it's visible for you in the file below ?

I forgot to say that if I select the stroke and convert line to shape, then it appears on screen.

agreed - a brush from this line is 'invisible' - unless converted to shape first

converting brush line to shape after - also reveals the shapes



have you tried giving the line a stroke shape before you make the brush?

it does not keep the comet shape - but it is visible

I think it has something to do with filling which has a different behaviour than in 3.2. I noticed That before I drew no color was selected in the color line. If I click on a color square after drawing my brush object and before converting it to brush that works !

Ivan - it may be the way your file is set up - I tried this in a fresh file from scratch and no problem getting a brush from a line....

Unfortunately that's a native template with Xara's native settings ...!
