Hi,

Am I alone when I say that it is of big importance to could save control bars preferences as a file?

It is so time consuming and boring to configure control bars each time the new upgrade is made or new installation of X.

Is there anyone agree with me?
Actualy I have got so enough of that constant configuration of control bars.

I absolutely agree!
After every, even minor, update I have to rearrange all the bars again.
I actually thought this would be possible, but I never got into really checking it out.

...and also clipart and fill folder links. I know this can sometimes be done with registry imports but it is still a pain.

Although not suggested or recommended by Xara as far as I've seen, the new Xtreme4 allows you to install updated versions over the top of the current installation (of Xtreme4). As far as I can tell this is non-destructive of your personal setup - all my settings were retained.
I tested this with the 8 April updated over the 2 April release.
