I suspect that that would do nicely!

It is not completed, but you may try and confirm if it suits your needs.
    Thank you.

So that's one way in which we could identify 'mouse effects layers' and all others could be exported reflecting the visibility switch perhaps. I suspect that's what John is alluding to.
Well first of all a "Thank you" for the heads up over this. I have had a go at reading the web export instructions - gosh it's more complicated than dreamweaver!

The proposed solution regarding visibility would probably do the trick for me.

Part of the problem here is that Xtreme web generation is using pages to export the separate pages of the website, while I am using only one page but separate layers. You might ask why I don't use separate pages. The reason that separate pages wouldn't work well is that there is no concept of a master page, making Xtreme very clunky for multi page designs with a consistent theme. This makes it messy when building cross-site navigation.

If the suggested change to layer visibility existed it would probably do the trick for the way I work - all in one page. If you did that and added the concept of a master page (or pages) to Xtreme, I would probably change(for the better) the way I work and split my web designs into separate Xtreme pages (simply because I could build my navigation into the master page).

Given my working pattern and the support for multiple pages, I can't help but think that there's a tension between the page sorter and the layer gallery. I now realise that I am trying to use layers to get around the limitations of no master page support.

Xtreme is lacking a nesting paradigm for page relationships and for layers.

    Anyway, my head now hurts!

    FWIW

I am planning a special workbook, out on the 15th that deals exclusively with creating a multi-page website.

    Hi Paul.

The replacement .dll goes into this folder.

Thanks sledger. Doesn't seem to make any difference to me. Invisible layers are still rendered to html.
