Corel aquires Magix!

It has happened. Corel has just announced they are aquiring Magix (owners of Xara) in a cash & stock deal. No mention of Xara in the press release but Xara v4 must be one of the prime things attracting them to Magix. Perhaps we'll see another CorelXara soon???

Looks like Corel have mixed up the press releases. Forgetful bunch at Corel. Remember back how they forgot to market CorelXara the first time 'round. (Most of you kids probably don't remember those good ol' days).

Ok....I did not find this post funny. My heart nearly stopped!

I used Jasc Paint Shop Pro for so many years. When Corel got it, they "fixed" the program to the point that I chose not to upgrade further.

Knowing how they did nothing with CorelXara and having seen what happened to PSP, I was mortified what would happen to XXP.

Didn't even realize today is April 1, April Fools... Thanks for catching me unaware and giving my heart a good jolt!
