I wish we had a warning that the DPI is very high and will thus cause XX to process too much information giving a 'out of memory' message (which only comes after a long period).

I make a lot of images 6000 pixels x 4000 pixels etc. in size using 600 DPI etc.
Sometimes I forget that the last 'export' used a high DPI and I then attempt to export a very big image. XX will use the last DPI settings and will try to create a mega sized file when I only wanted it to be 96 dpi and not 700 dpi for example.
If I remember, I create a dummy image from a single shape and export it as 96 dpi so that my next working image also uses 96 dpi. But I usually forget.

I just wish that there was a safety feature to prevent this sort of mistake as it would save a lot of wasted time in unnecessary processing and 'closing down' and 'starying up' etc. especially when X4 seems to be more unstable than X3.
