    Default XXPV4 Bug

When I go into File - New Animation I get an annoying small work area.
This didn't happen in V3, am I missing something?

It's 480 x 320 pixels, you can of course zoom it to screen size and resave it as an animation template.

    New feature.

We now clip Flash animations to the page size (was requested by a few users). This means that it's now super-easy to create clipped animations e.g. where things come in from, or go off, the sides. Before you had to use Clipview to create this effect, which was tedious.

So now you just set the page size to the size of your animations, and anything that goes off the side into the pasteboard area is clipped.

Admittedly we have picked a pretty random page size to start you off. But I believe you can customize this by saving a template...er... I think

Does the same happen when you export in webformat?
(not animated or animation page, just a regular page)
Something like this happened when I made a webpage
    and exported.

Yes, HTML export is also clipped to the page.

    Very nice new feature!

You can always change to 2045W X 1536H like before.

    Thank you Charles

Thanks also for fixing the age-old strange behaviour where there was no top/left pasteboard, so the animation always stuck in the corner of a zoomed-out window.
