    You no longer need to double click (or rather I should say do a second click) to go into Rotate mode - we changed that a long time back. You can rotate directly in 'scale' mode just by dragging just inside the corner handles.

    It's a real time saver. So I hardly ever use the second click now.

    Having said that there is a delay in the second click, and we'll look at that.

    yeah, but if you want to move the center of rotation, which i do often, you still need to second click.

    Great that you'll look into it.

    Though like i already said somehow the second click delay disappeared on my machine and i can't find a way to reproduce it like i could yesterday.

    I don't remember changing any settings, just happened i guess!?

    charles,

    one page back in this thread i attached a file to show a dramatic speed difference in rotation of a group of objects and a description. maybe you'll have a look at it.
