Ver 4 Shutdowns When Editing Bitmaps

Hi all,

Has anyone else had this experience? I just installed and was playing with XaraPro 4 on my Win XP 2 computer. When I open a bitmap and play with it, the program unceremoniously shuts down with no warning. I have lots of disk space and memory.

Can you repeat this with the same or any other bitmap?
If so, can you repeat this after a reboot (restart the PC) ?

If yes to all of the above, how big is the bitmap in both pixel dimensions and data size and, what type is it (.bmp / .jpg / .png . / .tif / .psd ?)

You say you have plenty of RAM, how much is that?
