Default edges on clipview (v3 and v4)

Can anyone find a way to stop me getting the edges on some clipview-ed shapes, please?

I am trying to make corners for a web page DIV and because the panel has a shadow I'm using the clipview method.

I carefully made the panel full pixels, and the clipping shapes are full pixels, but I am still getting the border which needs trimming after the export - which is a pain!

I've attached the file - I change the 8 clipping shapes to white fill before applying them.

    Thanks.

[EDIT] When I did this the first time (in v4) the export via the html export to png left a pixel line down the sides. In v3, doing a simple export (shape at a time) to png gives a clean result. I'll return to v4 and confirm this.

[EDIT] IT'S A BUG. The HTML export in v4 makes the shape 1 pixel bigger - 18x21 instead of 17x20 for example - and the edge is clearly visible when rendered within a web page.

At a glance (no time to look in detail), I see that while the objects themselves are whole pixels, they not on whole pixel XY coordinates (i.e. they start on half pixel boundaries and that will usually result in half pixels being saved, i.e. white edges). Try it after moving them to whole pixel XY origins.

Simon I changed all the shapes in the rounded rectangle clip view objects to no fill.

    Hi,

Noticed that one too, when playing with extrude and clipview
Thought it was the extrude feature that caused this
Tried your file, made editable shapes and converted the line to shape then the small line disappeared

    Charles

I moved them to whole pixel postions x and y but that made no difference.

Doing as you did and ungrouping reveals several not-rounded-pixel number shapes. Can't see a way round that, but still can't see why the html export to png works differently.

yup can confirm this - line to shape fixes it but thats not a nice solution.
