No it doesn't.
Why doesn't it get saved in the presets after copying into the presetsfolder?

yes - except that it does not appear in the list of presets to load it just saves to the image file folder
sorry if I mis-understood what you said in OP

Hi Hans,
The preset is saved in a folder where it is not used/displayed by the plug-in. It does not appear in the list of presets so that you can reuse it on new documents unless you manually move it there. Is it working correctly on your system?
When we did this with brushes, one could copy the xar to the brushesfolder and it would be there when needed in a new document(after Xara closed)
But this save as presets doesn't do anything but saving current(temp),
it isn't in the dropdown after saved so what's the use for this?
I'd like to make presets of my own.
Hans
Hi Hans,
That is what I am saying. When you adjust the sliders on the various tabs of the plug-in, your image changes to reflect these settings. If you like the results you go to the "presets" tab and select the "Save" button. A dialog comes up and asks you the name of the preset.
After you enter the name and press the OK button it appears as if nothing happens. However the preset is saved but it does not appear in the list of presets that the plug-in came with.
Then if you go to the first directory that I told you about and copy your named preset to the second directory, open the plug-in, and your new preset is added to the list and can be used on new documents.
This manual step should not be necessary. The plug-in is not working correctly in where it saves your preset or where it reads your presets.
Does that make sense?
That's the preferred way it should be
actually when copying it doesn't come in(at least for me)
