color picker on linear gradients

the color picker seems 'stuck' on #12f094 when hovering over a [some?] gradients

works fine on flat color as far as I can tell

EDIT HSV not RGB - anyway -the hexcode isnt working?

all colors match when opening the color editor

but its the new separate dropper tool when hovering over a gradient where the problem is for me

and that sort of defeats the object of having it separate ....

The hex values do not change using the eyedropper in a gradient filled shape. The HSV values update but not the hex values.

The hex values appear to be stuck at #12f060 on my system when sampling any gradient fill.

Steve the difference seems to be due to different version of Windows. I'm primarily using Vista but when I checked using Windows XP I got the same #12f094 that you report.
