Parallel lines help in X3

I can't seem to find a way to make Parallel lines in X3. I use the lines to make outline of bowl drawings before I add dimensions. There should be a way to expand or offset a line, I haven't found it yet. Your suggestions are welcome. Thanks GT

First of all, you must have a closed shape,
then use the "interactive contour tool" to create your parallel lignes.

or

give a large outline width to your shape, then convert it to curve (ctrl+shift+Q)
