Xtreme Pro 3.2 installation trouble

Hi there

I am new to xara and downloaded a trial version of xara xtreme pro 3.2 (i think) and i keep getting the error 6002. I have done everything it asked me to do but it still doesnt work. Does anyone know what might be wrong? I wanted to try it out first before purchasing it.

I think that's an InstallShield error. Possibly a corrupt download.

Try downloading the new beta release of XaraXtreme 4

Yep, it's another completely opaque InstallShield error.

Last time I got this (from a different app), moving the folder 'C:\Program Files\Common Files\InstallShield' out of the way (eg. rename to InstallShield-broken) mysteriously fixed it.

(I hate InstallShield and the way it manages to make copying a bunch of files into a folder some kind of staggeringly complicated fragile procedure.)
