ok this truncation has now 'gone away'

happened when I was checking out the new filters - so it may be connected

there again it may not be anything to do with xxp4 at all....

one thing I did notice - at one point when I had closed down the xara document, so that the program only was running - no documents open - xtreme process in task manager was still reported as using around 50% of the core 2 cpu and this continued until I closed the program....

xpro4 has a new photo mode, If you do not have a file open and drop/open a photo then xara will work without the familiar workspace.

After removing and reinstalling Xtreme Pro 4, it works.

I'm using Win XP Pro SP2

don't think it was that John - had the layer gallery docked - there were no layers present, no image loaded - I think it was a glitch with the filters - but I cannot recreate it so far....

Ilike a lot the new features, but the text repelling doesn't work correctly for me.

(DELL Precision M90 laptop, Centrino Duo 3.2 Ghz, NVidia Quadro FX 2500 video card)

Ivan, are you using a large system disply settings (120 DPI)?

I have to switch it back to 96 DPI, otherwise the repel works just as crooked as your screenshot shows.

I do hope repel can work correctly in different system display settings in the future.

Many thanks for this hint! I had no idea what could cause this problem and your observation has saved me a lot of detective work. I will fix this as soon as possible.

Anybody knows how to use the color picker from the color bar to use for the line color? Or is it only posible for the fill color?
Also, can the very high quality display setting be default when starting up or creating a new document?

For me, the preserve bitmap quality with scaling is worth upgrading, 3D extrude is nice.... collada 3D file import in next version please

Underlined text is nice, but I'd prefer to be able to have bold and italic text back!

I followed the directions, but no go.
